Voyage Cancelled After Tragic Loss of Woman Abandoned on Remote Island

An extensive two-month voyage circling the Land Down Under was terminated following the death of an senior woman who was stranded by the ship on a distant tropical isle.

The elderly woman had been hiking on the tropical location with fellow passengers from the cruise ship, but parted ways from the group for a rest. The vessel sailed away leaving her and returned several hours later after the crew became aware the woman was unaccounted for.

She added that she wished the examination would be able to identify what "the operator should have performed that might have preserved Mother's life".
